Who this policy covers

Different people interact with the service in different ways, and the way we handle information depends on which of these describes you:

• Account holders — people who sign up for a BizInnaBox workspace to run their business.
• Team members — people invited into an existing workspace by an account holder.
• Customers of a business — people who visit a business's public BizInnaBox page, send an inquiry, book, or leave a review.
• Customer-payment users — people paying an invoice or deposit to a business through a payment page.
• Website visitors — anyone browsing our marketing pages without signing in.

Businesses control their own customer records

When a business uses BizInnaBox, that business decides what customer information to enter or collect through its public page and forms. For that information, the business is responsible for how it is collected and used, and BizInnaBox processes it on the business's behalf to operate the service.

If you are a customer of a business and want your information corrected or removed, contact that business first. We will help the business act on your request.

Information you provide

• Account and profile information — name, email address, password credentials handled by our authentication provider, and profile details.
• Business information — business name, industry, service area, contact details, logo and branding, and workspace settings.
• Customer records entered by business users — leads, clients, notes, addresses and contact details.
• Scheduling information — appointments, jobs, events, availability and calendar entries.
• Estimates and invoices — line items, prices, taxes, deposits, payment plans and balances.
• Customer-payment information — payment status, amounts, receipts and refunds. Card details are entered directly with our payment processor.
• Communications data — email and SMS messages, templates, automation activity, and internal notes.
• Uploaded media and documents — work photos, before-and-after sets, attachments and gallery images.
• Reviews and testimonials — ratings, written feedback and the display name provided by the reviewer.
• Public pages and forms — anything submitted through a business's public page, inquiry form or booking request.

Usage and device data

We collect basic technical information needed to run and secure the service: IP address, browser and device type, pages viewed, and error diagnostics.

Cookies and similar technologies

We use cookies and local storage that are necessary to keep you signed in and to remember your workspace preferences.

Analytics tools are not currently active on our website.

Marketing cookies are not currently active.

A cookie consent notice is not currently displayed; only necessary cookies are used.

How we use information

• Operating the service and the features you turn on.
• Authentication, account access and security.
• Billing and subscription payment processing.
• Processing customer payments made to a business through the service.

Service providers

We rely on service providers to operate the product. They process information only as needed to provide their service to us:

• Stripe — subscription billing and customer card payments. Card numbers are handled by Stripe and are not stored by us.
• Email and messaging providers — sending transactional email and SMS on behalf of a workspace.
• Hosting and infrastructure providers — application hosting, database, file storage and backups.

Data sharing

We do not sell personal information. Information is shared with the service providers described above, with the business whose workspace the information belongs to, and where required by law or to protect the rights and safety of users.

Members of a workspace can see the records their role and assignments allow. Workspace owners and managers can see workspace-wide data.

Data retention

Deleting content removes it from the live service. Copies may remain in encrypted backups for a limited period before those backups expire on their normal schedule.

Account deletion, access and correction

Account holders can edit or delete most records directly in the app, and can export their business data before closing an account.

Marketing preferences

Product and account emails are part of the service. Marketing emails include an unsubscribe link, and messages a business sends to its own customers are controlled by that business.

Security practices

We use encrypted connections, role-based access controls, row-level database policies that separate one workspace from another, and audit logging for sensitive actions.

No online service can be completely secure, and we do not claim that it is. Please use a strong, unique password and keep your account credentials private.

Children's privacy

The service is intended for people aged 18 and over, and is not directed at children. We do not knowingly collect personal information from children.

International use

The service is currently offered to users in United States. Information is processed there and in the countries where our service providers operate.

Policy updates

We may update this policy as the product changes. The effective date at the top of this page shows the version currently in force, and material changes will be communicated in the app or by email.
