Draft document. This is a starter document that has not been published yet. It is not legal advice and should be reviewed by a qualified attorney before public launch.

1. Acceptance of terms

These terms are an agreement between you and IntelliTech LLC (doing business as BizInnaBox) covering your use of BizInnaBox. By creating an account or using the service you agree to them. If you do not agree, do not use the service.

2. Eligibility

You must be at least 18 years old and able to enter into a binding agreement. If you use the service on behalf of a company, you confirm you are authorised to accept these terms for it.

3. Account registration and security

  • Provide accurate account information and keep it current.
  • You are responsible for activity under your account and for keeping credentials secure.
  • Tell us promptly if you believe your account has been accessed without permission.

4. Business workspaces, invitations and permissions

A workspace belongs to the account holder who created it. Owners and managers can invite team members, assign roles and permissions, restrict access to assigned records only, and remove access at any time.

Invited team members may only use the workspace within the permissions granted to them.

5. Acceptable use and prohibited conduct

  • No unlawful, deceptive, infringing or harassing activity.
  • No unsolicited bulk messaging, or messaging people who have not agreed to be contacted.
  • No attempt to access another workspace's data, bypass permissions, or probe or disrupt the service.
  • No uploading of malware, or content you do not have the rights to use.
  • No use of the service to store payment card numbers or other sensitive card data.

6. Customer data and your responsibilities

You own the customer data you enter into BizInnaBox and you remain responsible for it. BizInnaBox provides the software; it does not provide your services to your customers.

As a business using the service, you remain solely responsible for:

  • Your own services and the work you perform.
  • Your pricing, quotes and customer agreements.
  • Taxes you are required to collect or remit.
  • Your refund, deposit and cancellation policies.
  • Fulfilment of the work your customers pay for.
  • Licensing, permits and insurance for your trade.
  • Your employee and contractor relationships.
  • Messages you send to your customers, including consent and opt-out handling.
  • Lawful collection and use of customer data, including through your public pages and forms.

7. Public pages, forms, estimates and invoices

Public business pages, inquiry forms, galleries, estimates and invoices are published under your business name. You are responsible for the accuracy of their content, including prices, availability and terms.

8. Customer payments and Stripe Connect

Online card payments from your customers are processed by Stripe through a connected account in your name. BizInnaBox is not the merchant of record for your services, does not hold your customers' card details, does not guarantee payment, and is not a party to disputes between you and your customer.

Payment plans, deposits, repeating invoices and offline payment records are tools you configure. The underlying obligations are between you and your customer.

Refunds are issued by you from your connected account. Chargebacks and disputes are decided by the card networks and Stripe under their rules. [Refund policy summary — add this in Legal settings]

9. Subscription plans and billing

  • Free and paid plans are available, with usage limits published on the pricing page.
  • Trials, where offered, convert to the selected paid plan unless cancelled before the trial ends.
  • Paid plans renew automatically each billing cycle until cancelled.
  • Upgrades take effect immediately; downgrades take effect at the next renewal.
  • If a payment fails we may retry it and provide a short grace period before restricting paid features.
  • You can cancel at any time and keep access until the end of the paid period.
  • Reaching a plan limit blocks new items of that type; existing data remains available.

10. Account suspension and termination

We may suspend or close an account that breaches these terms, creates risk for other users, or is used unlawfully. You may close your account at any time.

Before termination you can export your business data from the app. After an account is closed, data is removed in line with the retention practices described in the Privacy Policy.

11. Data ownership, content licence and intellectual property

You keep ownership of your content. You grant us a limited licence to host, process, transmit and display that content only as necessary to operate the service for you.

Reviews, testimonials and marketing content you publish through the service are published at your direction and you confirm you have permission to use them.

The BizInnaBox software, brand and interface remain our property. If you send us feedback or suggestions, we may use them to improve the product without obligation.

12. Third-party services

The service connects to third-party providers such as payment, email, messaging and hosting providers. Their own terms apply to their services, and we are not responsible for their acts or omissions.

13. Service availability, changes and beta features

We work to keep the service available but do not promise uninterrupted operation. Maintenance, provider outages and factors outside our control can cause downtime.

We may add, change or remove features. Features labelled beta or early access may change or be withdrawn and are provided as-is.

14. Disclaimers

The service is provided on an as-is and as-available basis, without warranties of any kind to the extent permitted by law. We do not warrant that the service will be error-free or that it will meet every requirement of your business.
